the more i think about it,
the futility of the whole thing becomes clear
and i laugh for many pages
and weep for many as well
and i began to notice something..
that not once during the course of this book is the word 'trust' mentioned
and when it is
the heroine laughs and pretends that it is all a game
while her hair mingles with the shards of the lives that will never cross paths again, but will be inexorably bound together
