travelling through the terrible losses
i am brought to my knees
before the statue of the divine
and i offer up
all of my wealth and good fortune
and i'm rewarded
with a ticket and a cane
i ask the divine why these particular gifts
and He replies
"if you don't like it, go kneel before
another statue"
