a childhood pet of mine
is dying
my family had him first
then my brother took when he got his
own house
but i've known him since I was about 7
he was the brother
of my absolute favorite cat in the world
she always waited for me
on my bed, when i got home at night
he was a really nice cat too
and now he's lying there
poisoned by earwig pellets
lying on a blanket
waiting to die
and i really didn't think i
would take it this hard
but i seem to be losing
every link to my childhood
