missing my city
i'm really missing
yonge and dundas
and shopping at sam's
on a sunday afternoon
alone,
but still
feeling like i had company
'cause i had spent years in that store
then after procurring my latest
treasure from them
i'd walk outside, light a cig
open my cd, read the liners
maybe call good 'ol fatty
to come and drink a few with me
i wish fatty was here with me
today
to wash down
these homesick blues
