but it isn't the explosive kind
that it was before
the pain
that led to psychosis
it isn't that kind
anymore
usually
it's more of a wistful
kind now
an older, more mature
kind of pain
the kind that leaves me
aching
to walk with you
through these autumn nights
and to bring you
to my door
and to bring you
to my bed
and i'd stay there
with you
till it was spring
again
